Tony Christian ran a nice 4.07 @ 183 to beat Jon Adams' 4.29 @ 169. Anthony Russo left first on Mendola with a .012 but his 4.57 was not enough to hold off the HEMI horsepower in Chris Mendola's Camaro. In the final Mendola would be out first with a .091, Tony had significant ET advantage going in and his 4.20 @ 176 was enough to stop Mendola's 4.45 sec @ 160.42mph run. Chris had a little wheel spin off the line.
